An interpretive tool, not an exact science
The first limitation of numerology is related to its nature: it is a tool for symbolic interpretation, not a scientific discipline.
It is not based on experimental evidence or verifiable universal laws. This means it cannot produce measurable or reproducible results in the scientific sense.
Its field of application is therefore different: it offers an interpretation, not a demonstration.
An inability to make precise predictions
Contrary to some expectations, numerology cannot accurately predict specific events.
It may suggest tendencies or favorable contexts, but it cannot reliably answer questions such as:
what will happen on a specific date; the exact outcome of a decision; the detailed course of a situation.
Seeking this level of precision goes beyond what this tool can provide.
Dependence on interpretation
Numerology results depend heavily on how they are interpreted.
Two analyses of the same chart may differ depending on:
the method used; the depth of the interpretation; the ability to cross-reference information.
This variability means there is no single “correct” interpretation, but several possible interpretations.
A risk of oversimplification
Another common limitation comes from the tendency to oversimplify analyses.
Reducing a person to a single number or characteristic can lead to inaccurate conclusions. Numerology instead requires an overall interpretation that takes several elements into account.
Without this nuance, the tool becomes less relevant.
A framework to use with discernment
Understanding the limitations of numerology makes it possible to use it more appropriately. It can help structure your thinking or shed light on certain dynamics, but it does not replace experience or personal judgment.
The goal is therefore to integrate it as a complementary tool, while maintaining enough distance to avoid excessive interpretation.
