What the Life Path reveals

How to calculate the Life Path
The most common calculation consists of adding all the digits of the day, month, and year of birth, then reducing the total until a number between 1 and 9 is obtained, or a master number such as 11 or 22.

Note on other methods
Other calculation methods are used by some practitioners. They produce the same result in many cases, but not always, especially when a master number appears during intermediate reductions.
Segmented reduction consists of reducing the day, month, and year separately before adding them together. Another method consists of adding the whole values of the day, month, and year, then reducing the total.
These variations exist, but the most important point is to know which method is being used and to apply it consistently throughout the chart.

How to interpret this number within a life journey
The Life Path represents a direction that reveals itself gradually. In the early years, this dynamic may seem unclear, thwarted, or obscured by the family, educational, or social environment. It is not always immediately visible.
Over time, this number often becomes more central in your choices, your deepest attractions, and the way you make sense of what you experience. It does not necessarily assert itself all at once, but acts as an orientation toward maturity. It also gradually takes precedence over the Personality Number, which relates more closely to the image projected during the earlier stages of life: a maturing dynamic that moves away from appearances and toward greater alignment.
